On the afternoon of December 8th, the School of Artificial Intelligence (School of Future Technology) held a special working meeting on overseas talent introduction in the W104 conference room of Yabei Building. Jin Zikang, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of the university, attended the meeting to provide guidance. All members of the leadership team of the School of Artificial Intelligence (School of Future Technology), Ding Ni, Deputy Director of the Personnel Department, and Ge Yuan, Head of the Talent Service Department, attended the meeting. Young backbone teachers with overseas study experience from the college also participated in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Dean Pan Zhigeng. Vice Dean Xu Jun interpreted the key points of the school's overseas talent introduction policy and reported on the implementation plan for the introduction of high-level overseas talents in the college. Luo Yuemei and Yang Qiang, representatives of overseas talent introduction teachers from the college, spoke separately, expressing that joining Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, which is full of "patriotism and national feelings", was the most correct choice in their career. Since joining, they have personally felt the importance and cultivation of talents by the school and college, and will strive to enhance their scientific research strength, promote scientific research achievements, strengthen international cooperation, actively publicize the school's overseas talent introduction policy, and let more outstanding talents join Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology.

Dean Pan Zhigeng stated that the college places great emphasis on attracting talents from overseas, considering talent as the primary resource and driving force for the college's development. After the special meeting on the college's overseas talent recruitment efforts, the spirit of the meeting was promptly conveyed and studied. The college has further optimized its talent recruitment policies and objectives and formulated a detailed and feasible work plan. The college will align with the school's requirements and strive to achieve new breakthroughs in overseas talent recruitment, especially in attracting outstanding young talents from overseas.

Jin Zikang, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of the university, affirmed the effectiveness of the college's overseas talent introduction work, especially the experience and practices of the Smart Medical Research Institute team in the practice of talent introduction and utilization. He pointed out that talent is the mainstay of the development of the university and the college.
